Lenox’s popular Spice Village place mats, which sold out at HomeGoods, are now available at Walmart. The mats are identical to the limited-edition version and are offered at a lower price, making them accessible to more collectors and home decorators.
Walmart has begun selling the Lenox Spice Village-themed place mats, which previously sold out at HomeGoods during a limited release, offering collectors and fans a new opportunity to purchase the highly sought-after item online.
The place mats feature a blue repeating motif of Lenox Spice Village houses, each labeled with different herbs, and are made of durable polyester. They come in a set of four, measuring 13 by 19 inches, suitable for large dinner plates and table settings. The mats gained popularity following a viral TikTok, where a shopper shared her success in securing them at HomeGoods, prompting a frenzy among collectors.
Months after the initial sell-out, the same design is now available at Walmart’s online store, often at a lower price than the original retail at HomeGoods. The availability online means consumers no longer need to wait in long lines or search crowded stores to get the collectible, which is appreciated by fans and casual decorators alike.
Walmart’s Online Restock Expands Access to Collectors
This development broadens access to the popular Lenox Spice Village place mats, which had previously been difficult to find after selling out at HomeGoods. The availability on Walmart’s website allows more consumers to purchase the collectible without the inconvenience of in-store shopping, potentially increasing its popularity and resale value. It also signals a shift in how limited-edition home decor items are distributed, moving toward more online availability.

Limited Release Sparks Collector Frenzy at HomeGoods
Lenox’s Spice Village line has been a beloved collectible for years, known for its charming miniature spice houses and vibrant designs. The recent surge in popularity was driven by a limited drop of the themed placemats at HomeGoods, which sold out within days. TikTok videos documenting the shopping experience fueled further demand, with some fans waiting in long lines for a chance to buy.
Following the sell-out, collectors and fans expressed disappointment on social media, prompting the brand and retailers to consider wider distribution channels. Walmart’s online stocking marks a significant change, making the item accessible beyond the initial limited retail locations.

Remaining Questions About Availability and Future Releases
It is not yet clear how long the Walmart stock will last or if additional quantities will be made available. The exact pricing and whether future releases will be similar or more limited remain uncertain. Additionally, it is unknown if other retailers will carry the placemats or if this is a one-time restock.
Next Steps for Collectors and Fans
Consumers interested in the Lenox Spice Village placemats should check Walmart’s online store regularly for stock updates. Retailers may also consider restocking or releasing new items in the line, so fans should stay tuned to official announcements and social media channels for further information. The ongoing demand suggests that the product could remain available through online channels for some time.
